Lash Affair Trainer Retreat 2017
The Lash Affair Trainer Retreat 2017
With the launch of the updated Lash Affair curriculum, it only made sense to bring #teamlashaffair together for an unforgettable retreat in Scottsdale, AZ! We came together for the weekend, ready to learn. In addition to the knowledge the girls left with, strong friendships were formed. We hope to share some of the good vibes with you through these pictures captured over the three day trip and hope you will be inspired to join one of our new trainings coming up this year!
Friday Night|Ladies arrival
Saturday | Day 1
After a filling breakfast at a nearby cafe, the girls enjoyed a full day of training from our Director of Education, Krystal Ruiz, our COO Paul Paris, and special guest, Co-owner of Bad Kitty USA, Jack Gaffney.
COO of Lash Affair, Paul Paris, digs deeper into lovemarks, made famous by the book Lovemarks: The Future Beyond Brands. We don't just want to sell products or education, Lash Affair seeks to have honest, genuine relationships with our clients and students. That same vision was shown and imparted to each of the trainers during the weekend to take that attitude back home to their students and businesses.
Director of Education, Krystal Ruiz, goes deeper into the new Lash Diary, Lash Affair's exclusive manual. It's visually stunning and packed full of all you need to know to be a great lash artist!
The girls were given mini lash kits complete with tiles and practice sheets to practice fan-making and share tips and tricks with one another.
Even COO, Paul Paris, had to get in on this lashing action. He soon realized it's a lot harder than it looks!
Sunday | Day 2
#sundayfunday looked like getting pretty and catching all the lights! We did a company photoshoot to get headshots for our new website and promotional material.
After a long day of photos the girls got some much needed chill time by the pool. Of course Lash Affair provided the girls with some sweet loungewear they had printed at Alpha Graphics!
Monday | Day 3
Monday started out with some work and ended with a lot of play. The girls all got a chance to demonstrate their teaching style and get some feedback.
The girls were taken to Escape Zone, which has multiple immersive escape rooms that you have to figure out before the clocks runs out. It was OGs vs. Newbies in an escape the room challenge!
All in all, Lash Affair put on a fantastic retreat full of laughs, education and lots of love. All of the trainers went back ready to deliver this exciting new curriculum to their upcoming students.
