Valentine's Day may have come and gone but that doesn't mean that the love has to stop! Whatever your relationship status, its important to make sure that you feel loved and appreciated, not just by others, but by yourself! 1. Cut Yourself Some Slack 

You're not perfect, so free yourself from chains that lock you into negative self-thinking. Lighten the weight on your shoulder by accepting imperfections, embracing self-proclaimed "shortcomings" and breaking away from high standards. You're human. Give yourself and your flaws a break.

2. Get Crafty and Creative

You're not too old for coloring! Grab construction paper, scissors, glue and other artsy materials, then write affirmations to yourself. Throw them in a box or mason jar to open throughout the year when you need a little pick-me-up!

3. Honor Your Body

Rather than hit the gym or fast for a day as punishment for a savory meal or dessert, exercise and eat some greens to treat your body well. Workouts and nutritious foods don't have to be necessary evils to lose weight or look better. See them as nourishment for feeling your best.

4. Learn a New Skill
