How to Build Your Lash Accessory Kit
The right lash accessories make the difference between a clean, fast set and one that fights you the whole way. Here's how working lash artists use each tool category:
Lash Brushes & Mascara Spoolies
Mascara spoolies and lash brushes are the workhorse tools you'll reach for every appointment — for pre-cleansing the natural lash, for fluffing fans before pickup, and for the final brush-out at the end of an application. Stock several so you always have a clean one ready, and replace them when bristles splay out or stop holding shape.
Lash Tiles & Pallets
A lash tile (sometimes called a lash pallet) is where you stage extensions during application. The right tile keeps your fans organized by length and curl, doesn't slide on the lash bed, and wipes clean between clients. Acrylic crystal tiles are most common; jade stones are popular for adhesive workspace because they keep the glue cooler.
Mini Scissors
Precision mini scissors are essential for trimming under-eye gel pads, customizing tape lengths, and the occasional lash trim during finish work. Stainless steel with a fine point is the standard.
Adhesive Storage & Workspace
Proper adhesive storage extends bottle life dramatically — our Love Shack glue storage solution keeps adhesive at consistent temperature and humidity. Combined with a nano mister for curing humidity control, you'll see noticeably better retention.
Under-Eye Gel Pads & Surgical Tape
Under-eye gel pads protect the lower lashes during application and create a clean working surface. Surgical tape secures them in place and can be used for additional bottom-lash isolation when working on tricky eye shapes.
Stocking the full lash accessory kit means fewer mid-appointment scrambles and faster, cleaner lash sets. Browse the collection above to find the tools your hands will thank you for.
