Volume lash extensions use lightweight fans of 2–6 ultra-thin extensions per natural lash. This creates dramatically more fullness and density than classic while keeping the weight per natural lash manageable. Volume is ideal if you want a glamorous, full look.

Hybrid lash extensions mix classic and volume techniques — some lashes get single extensions, others get small fans. This creates texture and dimension that looks fuller than classic but more natural than full volume. Hybrid is the most popular choice for clients who want the best of both worlds.

How Much Do Lash Extensions Cost?

Pricing varies by location, artist experience, and the type of set:

Classic full set: $100–$250. Hybrid full set: $150–$300. Volume full set: $200–$400+. Fill appointments (every 2–3 weeks): $50–$120.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Your first lash extension appointment typically takes 2–3 hours for a full set. Here's the general flow:

Consultation (10–15 minutes): Your artist will discuss the look you want, assess your natural lash health, choose the right length, curl, and thickness, and go over aftercare instructions.

Application (1.5–2.5 hours): You'll lie comfortably with your eyes closed while your artist isolates and extends each lash. Most clients relax or nap during this part — it's painless.

Final check: Your artist will review the set, make any adjustments, and give you detailed aftercare instructions.

How Long Do Lash Extensions Last?

Extensions last 2–4 weeks before you need a fill, depending on your natural lash growth cycle and how well you follow your aftercare routine. Your natural lashes shed and regrow continuously — when a natural lash falls out, the bonded extension goes with it. A fill appointment replaces what's been lost so your set stays full.

Most clients book fills every 2–3 weeks. Clients with excellent aftercare habits can stretch to 3–4 weeks.

Taking Care of Your Extensions

Aftercare is the single biggest factor in how long your extensions last and how good they look between fills. The basics:

Clean daily with an oil-free, extension-safe cleanser. Don't rub or pull at your lashes. Avoid oil-based products near your eyes. Brush daily with a clean spoolie. Sleep smart — silk pillowcase, back sleeping when possible.

Are Lash Extensions Safe?
